I remember an assignment I got when I was an art student a very long time ago. If I remember correctly it required us to find an image while not moving from the room we had just entered. My wife and I spend a lot of time on our porch, (we consider it another room), so sometimes finding a new image from that familiar location is a bit of a problem. Still, a fun activity.

Like many photographers, I am not comfortable on the lens side of the camera. I much prefer to be at the back end taking the shot. I sleep badly of a night and I am often pacing around the house in the early hours. It is then that I turn to the camera and try out selfies and process them to see what effect I can get.
Initial edit in ACR, then into PS to use Sfx as a filter. I used high structure for the base coat and then ran it through LR to finish off with the various sliders to get the effect I was after.
