Thank you all for the very kind welcome back and comments on my post. Even though I am using the Nikon's more, I am still using the X100s and also the magnificent tiny X70 so still have my allegiance to Fuji and Serious Compacts.
Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year and 2018.
Thank you Tony for the kind words, I am alternating my street work between the X100s and the Nikon DF (contrast in size and weight) but enjoy the shooting experience with both.
We were in Swindon town yesterday and it was dull, damp and dismal - this was reflected in the dress and expressions of many of the people as well despite it being near Christmas.
I had the X100s with me to avoid drawing too much attention - it worked and I was able to get some images without...
Firstly let me wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
It has been a while since I have been on here so apologies for that.
I have returned to Nikon (and very happy) after a few years of shooting with Fuji X-Pro2 & XT2.
The Fuji's are superb cameras but just did not quite meet...
X100s images (3) edited as HDR - my first attempt so not sure if it looks totally natural or not.

Thanks Sue, I was lucky to get mine while there was still stock but once Sony stopped producing the sensor and Fuji announced they were not making anymore they seemed to sell out really quickly.
They are a superb little camera with the X100T sensor inside.
A few street images with the tiny but outstanding Fuji X70.

Thank you all for the kind words.
There was a contrast of personalities at the event from the "Grumpy Hook a Duck Ladies" to the super smiley girl in the window - a great day for all and as usual a very well attended event that is always well organised.
My wife and I attended the annual Angel Festival at Islington (Year 10 for us)!
It is a well attended event along the towpath with a mix of stalls / entertainers / food and other stalls (my wife sells vintage clothes / jewellery) and we have a regular group of customers who come to see us each...
Nice images here Mike and thanks for joining us at the event. It is always great to put a face to a name/member of a forum especially when we all share a common interest.
