Post grooming! He finds it exhausting, he'd also been taken into my daughter's school (she teaches 6 year olds) to "visit" for 10 minutes and then went with me to the car wash where the guys squirted the pressure hose against the windows which alarmed his somewhat, although they did talk to him and stroked him afterwards!

our dog-sitters are out of town for the weekend so we added their two bonkers Pomeranians to our pack. They are pretty sweet, but a little high-strung and barky.....two days is plenty.

Here's Hamlet relaxing after breakfast with Charlie in the background.

And here's Marley.....she's super sweet, though I don't think I could ever get accustomed to her extreme submissive urination.

And here's Charlie just looking a bit lost. He seems a bit stressed out getting less attention. We're looking forward to some peace and quiet tonight when our pack returns to it's normal size.

Wonderful pictures everyone. Especially Inky on the sofa and Little B spoiling the family, are reminding me of our Wilson. He died 3 weeks ago today, and the sofa and companionship were his hallmarks.

Very sorry to hear. I bet you have many treasured memories.

I walked around old downtown today. Most houses there are several million dollars and up. There were 3 today where a dog, about lab/collie size, was sitting or lying near the front gate. I walked up to each and the dogs were very friendly, licking my hand, liking to be petted. But at least 2 of those gave me an impression of being lonely, alone in the yard, wanting to play and be given attention. And as I walked away, I felt sad each time. It made me think about people too, that the best thing we can give anyone is our time and attention, but we are more busy than ever.
