After ogling them pretty much since I became interested in photography, and actively looking for one over the last 12 months, I've finally added a Leica to the stables :)

I ended up picking up a nice M2 ('65 build with lever-rewind and self-timer) from Mainline Photographics in Sydney, who were selling on behalf of a local gentleman. For the time being I've decided to go with a Voigtländer 35mm f2.5 Color Skopar.

Impressions thus far are very good, definitely a different experience from my Pentax MX! Hopefully the first few rolls of film will come back nicely!

Well, as per your other thread, IMO you have picked the nicest and most "Leica" of the M bodies; the perfect blend of build-quality, framelines and just enough "features" to capture the image - no more, no less.

The Color Skopar is a great lens too - well done!
