On the Road Again – Jokers Tunnel by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

Jokers Tunnel is not much a tunnel. Sadly, I do not know why it is called Jokers Tunnel or its history.

Gascoyne Murchison Outback Pathway Exploration July-August 2020 - #GMOPE 35.

I just did a google search and I came up with this website

Apparently it was dug by gold miners with hand tools

Counts Point Looking West by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

This photo is looking west from Counts Point which is part of the Heavitree Range approximately 85 km into our walk. We spent the day walking the ridgeline before descending the range to camp overnight. At this time, a lot of the Trail was still to be marked and developed so it was at times an interesting experience indeed.

Photos in OneDrive is throwing up some memories which has me looking back at photos from a bushwalk I organised for the Perth Bushwalkers Club of the Larapinta Trail in 2005. The Trail is a 223 km walking trail in the West McDonnell National Park (Tjoritja) in the Northern Territory.

The camera used was a Canon IXUS 500.
