Blizzard of 2015

Time, gentlemen, please... Photos welcome, but this thread is drifting too far now...

no, it wouldnt. first, the blizzard never showed up. second, even if it did, it doesnt come down three feet all in an instant. it was supposed to accumulate over 36 hours, not 36 minutes. its not just 'upon you'. this is nyc, not the himalayas. there is plenty of time to initiate necessary closures in stages, based upon what is actually happening, rather than a fear of what might happen. were it your business that lost money, or your daughter needlessly stuck in some godforsaken airport, or your wife prevented from driving home, all for no reason, perhaps you would feel that staged and targeted implementation of emergency procedures based on unfolding factual events makes more sense than blind blunderbuss action.

everyone is entitled to their opinion on the matter, but the thread is no longer a photo thread. So I'm closing it down. If anyone has any blizzard photos after they are done digging out, feel free to start up a new thread.
