Two lighthouses and a bit of sea

It's been a long time since I posted anything, but my photography has become very sporadic as of late.

In any event, here are some recent shots of two Puerto Rico lighthouses, located at the two extremes of the island.

The first lighthouse is Los Morillos Lighthouse, in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. The lighthouse is a working lighthouse located in the southwest tip of the island. The beach shots that follow are of the surrounding area. The shots were all taken at sundown, with the lighthouse shot taken practically at night.

The second lighthouse is Punta Tuna Lighthouse in Maunabo, Puerto Rico. This is another working lighthouse, located in the southeast corner of the island.

I hope you enjoy them!

This is a real change of pace for you Antonio, and a really nice one. I'm a bit more partial to the B&W shots, with the first and last my favorites, but the second shot and the two color ones are also really wonderful...

Thanks all for your very kind comments!

I never thought it would happen, but I have fallen into a slump that is probably going on three or four months now. I guess it's a combination of having had a very intense year at work (in a good way, mind you), which has left me with precious little free time to devote to family and other pursuits, and family must come first. I have found myself more often than not taking photos at family outings, rather than going on photo-specific trips. All of the photos in this set were taken with the family on tow, and while my wife and son were very patient in allowing me the time to set up a tripod for each shot, I did try to be considerate of them and sped it along as best as I could.

In any event, it's good to be back!

Cheers,

Antonio

The B/W shots in this series are killer! :)
