Hello,
I am back from a trip through the UK and I would like to show you some of my photos and give some hints about good places for photos. Our predefined route was: Edinburgh, Isle of Skye, Loch Lomond, Lake District, Snowdonia NP, Pembrokeshire Coast NP.
Day 1/2: Edinburgh
I've been in EDI before, so we just walked around for recreation and tried to get some good photos on our way. We tried to explore some more natural spots and found Dean Gardens, which were pretty nice. You can enter them via Mackenzie Pl or Miller Row. Dont try to enter the other side of the creek, it's all private.

We also walked up Holyrood Park and Calton Hill, the well known spots for tourists.

Day 3: Edinburg -> Isle of Skye
We drove from Edinburgh to the Isly of Skye. Nothing really spectacular on our way, just had a short break here...

Day 4: Isle of Skye
We explored the "Fairy Pools", which is a nice sport for photographers and that said, there were so many of them that you had people in the frame quite often...

Day 5: Isle of Skye
We walked up all the way to the Old man of Storr and beyond... There have been thousands of really good photos on the web showing the Old Man of Storr and our light was not the best, so just to be complete.

In the evening we tried a short walk on a peninsula. We were not expecting much, but it was a really great (and easy) walk and there was a good place for our tent, too!

Day 6/7: Isle of Skye
I was a bit 'ill' and relaxed a bit on those days, but in the evenings I needed some excercise, so there are some shots, too.

Day 8: Isle of Skye -> Glen Coe -> Loch Lomond
That was a long ride again, but we made several stops. Glen Coe was a good place to stop due to spectacular mountains.

Day 9: Loch Lomond -> Lake District
After arriving in the Lake District we made a "short and easy" walk. Yeah... that was totally wrong... it was a long and hard walk, but nevertheless, the landscape was quite nice, but not as spectacular as the next day. I can't remember the name/place, sorry, but the streets were very narrow and hard to drive, so you shoudl be a "good" driver anyway.

Before we reached our destination for the next two nights (Grasmere), we saw a nice sunset.

Day 10: Lake District
We decided to do the near by walk up the Seat Sandal. It's quite steep in the end, but I highly recommend to hike up till the end, you get spectacular views:

Another day in the car, but in the afternoon we reached Betws-y-Coed, a small town featuring the "Bridges Walk". Actually we got lost a little bit and went to far, but that was quite good as there were some really nice places! So, I highly recommend to "get lost" on the Bridges walk.

Day 12: Snowdonia NP
Our challenge for the day was to walk up to the Snowdon summit. We decided not to take the train, but to hike up the Rhyd Ddu Path, which was described to have the "most striking mountain scenery".
