I'm looking for an affordable camera that can handle getting wet and costs probably not more than $300. All the cameras seem to have drawbacks, so I can't find a clear winner. The olympus Tg2 looks interesting, but the OLED viewfinder is hard to read in daylight. Pentax has the WG-3 (I think that's what it's called) that sounds similar, spec wise. Seems all the others have slower lenses.
Another idea is to search for an underwater housing for my EM-5 or x100s.
Has anyone out there found a cheapish answer to this question? Sharp snapshot quality is probably good enough in this case. This is just for times I don't dare bring my regular gear.
Thanks in advance for your input.
