I was walking yesterday - and wound up in a local supermarket. But supermarkets in Ashland, Oregon, are special - in addition to organic foods, they also have eccentric animistic Buddhist Monkey God ceramic sculptures for sale. I couldn't resist.
Taken at the Gare St. Roch in the center of Montpellier, France. This train station separates part of my neighborhood from the center of town, so I'm often 'strolling' through it. It is nearly done being refurbished. Major renovations that have taken years. This scene is of a waiting area. Tables with electric outlets for travelers with their 'puters and phones. The view looks toward the old center of Montpellier.
At evening after work I often walk along the river Rhine. Today there was a kermis under construction. Here a carousel before a curtain lit up by a blue spotlight.

It's been a while since I actually went out and took some pictures and posted any on here. I just got a Minolta 50mm f1.7 and an adapter for my X-T1 so I wanted to take it out and test it.
This shot I almost tossed because of the haze from shooting in the direction of the sun and being wide open and with no lens hood. This is just basic adjustments from LR.
But I'm glad i decided to take it into silver efex to see what I could do and I liked that but I took it over to color efex too and added the midnight filter to and it changed the look of the image drastically. I really like how it came out.
