Nice series. I especially like your lead photo on the first page and the one with the bid rocks here. I am leaving for India on Saturday, where in India were you?

I was in Candolim, Goa at the beach for 36 days. While there I went on a 3 day tour to Hampi ruins. Cost was $92 US for train, buses, guide and 2 nights in a very nice hotel (you should see it if you can). Now I am in New Delhi for another 2 weeks. Wish you the bes and enjoy your trip. There is a lot to see in India and a very varied and old culture. If you like "3rd world" countries you will have a great time on the cheap. Western style amenities are available at less than US prices. Here's a few pics of my $11 per night guest house suite in Candolim.

Hey Mike, welcome to India. If you've saved up a bit of money and have a sudden urge to splurge on Indian fine dining while in Delhi, head to Kainoosh (http://www.keya-kainoosh.com/KainooshIndex.htm).

Thanks... I'll give that a look. For the most part I'm a "street" vendor foodie. Mostly deep fried food and I usually go where the foreign students eat. If they've been eating there it's generally safe. I also have a couple vendors for veggie burgers and rollups, They make great cakes too!

Many thanks to everyone for their comments and "thanks", all are very much appreciated and I'm honored that the images were featured. It's been a fantastic trip! Again, Thanks, Mike
