Film Fun with film cameras (Image thread)

Nice shots. Love the RedLine shot. My home turf! Is this still with the Yashica? Or have you moved on to a rectangular medium format? The little girl at the water's edge is adorable.

Some ektar. I didn't get anything amazing on this roll, mostly had grey weather and was too impatient to wait for scenic activities to just happen on their own.

Waiting on the red line, bracing the camera on a railing at the end of the platform, shutter open for 5 seconds when a driver yells out his window at me not to stand there, yank the camera away before shutter closes...

Beginning to scan the first 2 rolls of 120 film (ektar) shot through the Yashica A on vacation last month...

Drop-off lab developed for less than $7 a roll, scanned by me on the Epson 600, no post other than some cropping.

For these I scanned them pretty low. Actually it's in the file titles on flickr (how smart of me). Some were 1200, some only 800dpi. If it's just some so-so shot bound for Facebook on its way to being forgotten, 800dpi is fine, and MUCH faster.

Rejoice, film people: fresh meat!

Ok, second roll of ektar 120 from the big trip is in and scanned. One more roll to be picked up tonight, scanned whenever I get time. Some shots:

Wife got it focused! I have no idea what I was telling her, but I wish the wind had left my cow lick alone.

Sorry Kyle, mate, been under a rock. That roll of Ektar is nice work. Some superb shots - I, for one, love the rigid portrait. The eyes are still so alive! Also the daddy doing daddy things is a beaut! I've missed this folder. Something so real about it!!!

Hi all, my first post to the film thread. You may have seen the other thread but I've just got back the first roll of film from my 'new' Leica M2.

Very happy, everything was exposed correctly across all shutter speeds, no light leaks and whatnot, and the lens (CV 35/f2.5 Color Skopar) renders beautifully...

Here's one of Mt Pelion East on the Overland Track (Superia 400. I'm hoping to order some Portra 160 and 400 soon)
