i just havent done a whole lot with photo stuff, and ive been having to travel a lot for work, so its just UGH, lol.
was finally going thru the few photos ive gotten to take, and thought id bop over and toss some up! i see you post on rx1 or sony7 series or whatever on facebook occasionally!

Meet Bentley!

So, as a few of you know, I have been looking for a second dog forEVER now. I looked for another boston, then a frenchie, then a brussels griffon, then a cavalier king charles, and decided "Whichever one I find available, with a good personality, from a breeder that doesnt seem like some money hungry puppy mill,... I'll get!"

Well.. forever later... I kept stumbling into puppymill seeming breeders who get annoyed by my obnoxious amount of questions, lack of breeders all together, or a 5 year waiting list! At this point I started going around to every shelter I could get to in freaking TX! Finally find some super sweet and loving chihuahuas in Victoria! AAAAlmost get them, but I'm just not a chihuahua guy.

Keep going back, as Victoria seems to get all the sweet and loving dogs for the entire state of TX... and Stumble into this guy! Now, I was NOT looking at getting a Yorkie, as they just seem too much of a purse dog... but I had decided to go as much on personality as I could stand.

When we got to the 1:1 room, the 2 shelter gals and I could not get him to stop running from person to person giving them kisses and begging to be picked up so he could give MORE kisses. He would jump into your lap, and spazzily be giving you kisses to the point that he would tumble backwards while still licking at the air!

I LOVED HIM!

hehehehe.

He is a 2 year old YorkiePoo, and came with the name, so Bentley will prolly just continue to be his name, as he responds to it, and I don't want to change it... plus I ordered him a Bentley car logo dog tag already

He and Gonzo get along fine. There was about 12 hours of Gonzo OVER sniffing him, and hed just sit down and then scoot forward to get away from the sniffer! Now, Gonzo just flat out ignores him, unless Bentley gets wound up to play and charges him for a tackle and tumble across the carpet. Gonzo manages to right himself and pops up, his one eye bugged out in shock, like WHAT THE?! WHAT WAS THAT?!, and snorts derisively when he notices Bentley, then trots back off to doing whatever it was that he was doing.

I tried to take photos of Gonzo and Bentley together... but Gonzo's perpetual look of utter MISERY during photo shoots, coupled with Bentleys desperate need to be right at the edge of the stand to be as close as possible.. made all 25 photos, or so, look as tho Gonzo were miserable BECAUSE of Bentley.

lol!

So you just get Bentley SOLO! ;D

OMG. While I was reading this post, my wife looked at my screen and swooned......"who's that little cutie" she asked. She's got a crush on Bentley. He's a handsome little guy, but my heart belongs to Gonzo. Enjoy the joys of a 2 dog household.....and give 'em both belly rubs from their crazy uncle Luke.

heheheh say hi for us!
there were SO many SWEEEET SWEET lovey dogs in victoria... austin is so packed full of aggressive pit bulls or chihuahuas... thats all u see in our shelters
i told the shelter people that if they loaded all these dogs up and went to austin over the weekend, theyd come back with an empty van!

Congratulations on your new doggy...... adorable...... They'll soon get used to each other and meanwhile we await more pictures!

they played tugowar last night and this morning a bit
so its gone from oversniffing, to ignoring, to mild playing. gonzo still like to play all out tho, and bentley plays all the time, but only at like 25% of gonzo's all out, so bentley just lets go suddenly when gonzo starts snarling and thrashing the rope toy around. lol. then he picks it back up when gonzo has calmed down. lol!
