Sounds like a great trip and a really enjoyable flickr set. I love that first shot through the gate as much as any of them. Looks like you took the EM1 with two lenses and the LX100 for days you didn't need the reach of the 75 and maybe wanted some more variation in focal length. Looks like you took the right kit!

Bill: thanks!

Ray, good eye for gear. ;-) You did miss the third lens: 12 f2, but shots made with that lens only made the family album. I'm under marital obligation not to post pictures featuring my family online. That's too bad since the family album contains a few of my favorite shots. If you'd ever stop by for a visit, I'd be happy to show them....
The gear was excellent: my two favorite m43 lenses (PL 25 1.4 and O 75) with an additional wide angle and a nice coat pocket camera. I love the LX100 for grab shots, for example in situations where cycling is your main goal.

Kyle: I bet you'd enjoy it. Since we never met in person it's a bit frightening, but when I was over there on my bike it did come to mind that I should suggest this to you...

No you're right - this is exactly our kind of thing. We did the Netherlands by bike about 3.5 years ago for 2 weeks, with our daughter up front in a Bobike Mini on the rental bikes (from Mac in Amsterdam). It was glorious... Utrecht, A-Dam, den Haag, Middleburg...

I did literally pass it: I only saw it from the outside. A beautiful building! And I would have loved to go in, but I had no spare time once we were near Frederichshafen. Next time!
