I've Finally Reached "Zen" Of Gear Inner Peace!

I reached a slightly more enhanced state of Zen today. In my constant search for "best bang for the buck", I snagged a used 14-54mm ZD 2.8-3.5 Mk II, along with a MMF-3 adapter. I like to hike in the deepest part of Winter, and this combo will go great with my E-M5.

So I have to eat a bit of crow here & say that I now own a X100T.....

Here's the purchase story.
A couple of weeks back, my wife had to have an unexpected surgical procedure due to her ongoing battle against cancer - caught all of us by surprise as she's had a few surgeries already. So when this happened, I sighed to myself and said "again?".

Anyways, I needed something to pick-me up out of the blues & thus the arrival of my X100T....

Well I hope the X100T helps to keep your body and mind busy and your spirits up. Stay strong mate.

I hope your wife gets better and that her health improves.

Congratulations on the X100T, but much more importantly, my very best wishes to you and your wife. The zen of learning to live with, and hopefully beat, cancer makes the zen of gear ownership look like the small time "problem" it is.

But I hope the new camera can help you get your mind in a more positive place from time to time...

Very sorry to hear this. My wife is a 2+ year cancer survivor, and my thoughts and prayers go out that your wife can join that coveted group. Cancer claims far too many precious lives, including my father.

Best wishes for you and your wife, RT. I'm glad to hear that big picture things are okay and hope she is past this latest challenge soon.

My prayers for your wife and your family. Had my own scare a couple years ago. I remain in a 'pre' condition but so far have been blessed that nothing's progressed. And you know.. when you have to deal with something like that, a little pick-me-up for a distraction is okay. Enjoy your T and some quality time with your wife. Zen is more about adaptation, no crow to eat, you've simply.. adapted. :)
