Open Challenges!

As I am confirmed dog lover, I almost feel disloyal starting this thread, but here I go. We have three cats that found us and decided we were worthy. I have friends who have cats, too, and have found them to be both inscrutable, as well as quite photogenic. I'll start this off by introducing Nalo. I took this with my handy LX5 yesterday afternoon in his living room. He is a well read cat.
I always think that galleries and museums are great places for catching interesting people shots. I couldn't find a thread here that covered this as a genre, so thought I'd create one (I'm sure if my searching is weak that someone will point me to the existing one!).. Anyhow, here are a few from me to kick it off... Looking up and looking down by Paul Kaye, on Flickr Appreciating Beauty by Paul Kaye, on Flickr Here's looking at you kid by Paul Kaye, on Flickr
inspired for this idea for a thread by Malo1961 at mu-43 (martin takes very good photographs indeed, by the way) ... perhaps we could start a thread for each section of the spectrum ... in this case the idea is blue will be dominant ... believe it or not, this is not a WB effect ... all I had to do to make it look like I saw it was pull the orange back a bit ... not a fine composition, but the chromatic shock of this great slab of colour in a tiny side street made me laugh out loud ... so I thought I would share it E-P2, Lumix 20/1.7, 1/20s, f/1.8, ISO1600
